Who is Alex?
I have been working in the fields of Marketing & Communications for the last 25 years. I am running and co-owning as Managing Director a Group that is delivering integrated services in the fields of Market Research, Advertising and PR, active in 9 countries in Europe with a Focus on CEE. During my AIESEC days, I was EB member in Vienna at the Business faculty, MCVP in Austria and I was working with AI supporting the Teams during 1996-2000. After becoming AIESEC Alumnus, I was President of AIESEC Alumni Austria from 2000-2003.
Who is Oyvind?
Master degree in Economics from the University of Oslo. Leadership education from the Kennedy School at Harvard University.
AIESEC career as NCVP Norway, traineeship in Prague summer 1967, NCP Norway, PAI AIESEC International 1968/69. Active Alumni from 2008, participated in the GALI project.
CEO of The Norwegian Association of Local Authorities. His own Consulting company from 1993. Oyvind has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Who is Vladimír?
21 months of growing my own business for better experience with wine: www.ocenenavina.cz. 12 years of marketing career in FMCG. From marketing trainee in The Coca Cola Company, brand manager at Plzeňský Prazdroj to the marketing manager of 6 brands at Karlovarské minerální vody. Currently working for fun on e-commerce focused projects for slevomat.cz, Rockaway group.
3 active years in AIESEC. From the team member in wonderful team “Želvičky“ – yes that´s the origin of my nickname Želva:) to LCP of AIESEC Prague and marketing CEED in AIESEC Thailand.
Who is Bea?
I joined AIESEC Brno in 2004 and had been an active member till 2010. However, I continue to host, facilitate and train at different conferences (NaLDS, German regional conferences, Global LEAD Conference, IPM, IC) till now. I was active mainly in the incoming trainees area, branding, training and facilitation and I finished my AIESEC career as LCP of Legendary AIESEC Brno.
I did an internship in Istanbul (teaching English to top management of a copper producing company), and after that, I got a job as a head of a customer service in a printing company.
Once I moved to Prague, I joined DEVELOR as a learning and development consultant. Currently, I pursue my passion as a visual practitioner and I freelance as a graphic recorder, facilitator and trainer.
Zdeněk Fred Fous
Who is Zdenek?
Zdenek is AIESEC alumnus (2008) and a serial entrepreneur. He has co-founded six companies over the last ten years, both successfully and unsuccessfully. Zdenek is passionate about social entrepreneurship, backpacking in emerging countries (50+ countries visited), personal development and exotic cultures.
Who is Jana?
AIESEC alumna since 1994, member of the NC (MC) that divided AIESEC Czechoslovakia.
In 1995 I moved from Kosice/Slovakia to Pardubice, where I tried to start my entrepreneurship. In 1997 I became one of the first certified lecturers in CZ in EU affairs – what predefined my future career – being freelance and specialised in EU area. In 1998 Head of press department at the Ministry of Transport and advisor of Minister. In 2003 worked for MoAgriculture – as an advisor to minister.
Since 2004 I joined Agrofert – as EU relations responsible – directly accountable to the owner- with the area of competencies related not only EU affairs but biofuels, competition law, subsidies, etc. Married in 2009, currently having two kids (4 y.o., 6 y.o.), and moved from Prague to Jihlava (where I live now) and I joined EUFC (my husband’s company specialised in subsidies and EU affairs). 2014-2015 worked as an advisor for Minister of Finance.
Currently – I’m still on my way to try to change the world, and starting point is in Jihlava – as a member of City Parliament.
Who is Hana?
I joined AIESEC Karviná in 1991 and spent there wonderful four years as Project Coordinator, leading our international conference „Travelling in New Europe“ and a couple of National Committee training camps (NTCs). As part of AIESEC Exchange program, I spent several months in Tel Aviv, Israel, working for Israeli transport company. Thanks to AIESEC I got my first job in marketing of Procter & Gamble. I spent first eight years of my career there.
I joined P&G in 1995 and three years later became brand manager of Azurit and Jar. Afterwards I was relocated to South-East Asia, Australia and India region, where I worked as Regional Brand Manager on brands such as “Joy“ (Philippines), “Dawn“ (Australia) and “Febreze“ (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Australia). After almost 3 years in Asia I moved back to Europe and shortly after that I decided to leave the corporate world and face the challenges of private business. With my friend I set up CONFESS Research agency, which I have led for past 14 years.
Who is Braňo?
AIESEC experience: LC Comenius University in Bratislava and NC (MC) AIESEC Slovakia. Alumnus since 1995.
Professional experience: Marketing Manager at Asia Initiatives, an organiser of conferences in South-East Asia. Partner at McKinsey&Company, a management consulting company (serving mainly telecom and consumer goods clients in Central/Eastern Europe and the US) and now LEAF, a non-profit educational organisation in Slovakia (www.leaf.sk), with a school for students from Central Europe (www.leafacademy.eu)
But these are just dry facts. I hope it might be interesting for you also to know that I draw energy from enjoying the present (being with my wife and three children, playing ice hockey and music) and from dreaming about the future (learning, building new initiatives, unleashing human potential).
